Meet Mary Lauda Corwin, Kitchen and Bath Design Specialist!

Here at Toulmin, we're really proud of our team! Our kitchen and bath designer Mary Lauda Corwin was recently featured in Style Blueprint as their latest “interior design crush” and we're not surprised! Since joining our team in 2015 after a career in the home furnishings industry Mary Lauda has been delighting our clients with her keen eye for design and her strong attention to detail.

Mary Lauda approaches every project with the ultimate goal of creating spaces that perfectly unite beauty and functionality. She creates beautiful kitchens and bathrooms that always complement the home's character and reflect the aesthetic and personal style of our clients.

A Passion For Kitchen and Bath Design 

Although she's only five years into her career, this young designer has found her passion in kitchen and bath design. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from the University of Alabama in 2013, she worked as an in-store designer in a retail furniture store. But she aspired to more. In 2015, Mary Lauda joined the team Toulmin Kitchen and Bath and fortunately for us, has never looked back! She's continued to expand her skills and received her Associate Kitchen and Bath Designer certification through the National Kitchen and Bath Association in 2017. She's currently studying for her final exam to earn the designation Certified Kitchen and Bath Designer.

She gives every client 110% attention and strives for excellence, is passionate about design and is detail oriented to ensure that every aspect of a project is completed at the highest levels of workmanship while always keeping the client's needs first.

An Eye For Timeless Design Trends

In her Style Blueprint interview, Mary Lauda describes her personal style as eclectic, but clean and unfussy. Her background in interior design and art history gave her an appreciation and understanding of a variety of styles. She always puts her clients' needs first to create spaces where they feel comfortable and truly at home which is why we love her approach to interior design! It's about form and function and meeting the needs of her clients.

Her love of the elements of design keeps her working to remain current with the latest trends and her latest designs feature interesting uses of wallpaper and color palettes. But that doesn't mean she doesn't love the timeless design of a classic white kitchen with marble countertops!

Mary Lauda's work draws inspiration from everywhere. The Internet allows her to keep up to date with what her favorite designers from around the world are doing, and she's also inspired by movies and theatre, gaining insights from set design and color. Her love of travel, architecture and design all show through in the wonderful designs she has created for Toulmin Kitchen and Bath clients.
