What is a Galley Sink?
This is one of the best products we've come across in years regarding functionality and style! The Galley Ideal Workstation is ideal for your indoor, or increasingly, outdoor kitchen. It's available in some different lengths and configurations, including single and double bowl styles.
The Galley Sink is an innovative product that was invented by an award winning kitchen designer to address the needs of his clients. It's a highly engineered system, handcrafted in the United States.
The Galley Workstation is available in six different lengths. Choosing the right one for your needs depends on the size of your kitchen. The Galley is actually designed for more than one person (1 to 3 people can work at the Galley workstation comfortably), making meal prep fun, and efficient. The IWS5 is Galley's best-selling model, and it comes with a 9-piece, dual-tier culinary kit. This is the heart of the system! It's available in five different finishes to fit into any kitchen décor and design.
Quality Construction and Hand-Crafting
Here at Toulmin Kitchen and Bath, we only work with manufacturers we trust who can provide us with products that can meet the needs of our clients and exceed their expectations in terms of style, durability, and functionality. The Galley Ideal Workstation is built to last using 16-gauge stainless steel with a true edge design, fabricated in one piece. The Galley sink is designed using a tier system. Accessories slide above and below each other on an upper and lower track.
The unit is available in four durable materials including natural bamboo, graphite wood composite, and gray or white resin. So it's a stylish addition to any new kitchen. Al materials are hand-finished for easy upkeep and durability. Even the basin is reversible with a side drain.
The Culinary Kit
This is the heart of the workstation. The culinary kit includes accessories that are critical to the functioning of the system. The sink itself is designed with a two-tier rail system. The accessories all slide on the rails, for example, the IWS5 comes with nine accessories including two dual-tier 17 X 18-inch cutting boards, one dual tier drying rack, two dual tier platforms that accept the 2- 7.2 quart 11” colanders and the two 7.2-quart bowls with lids.
By sliding the panels, you can create a cutting board for preparing vegetables which can easily by placed next to the platform over the bowl. Just slide your food right into a bowl for simple prep. Additional custom accessories are available like dual-tier 6 container condiment serving boards, a dual-tier wash and serve basin, knife racks, and bottom grates to protect the finish of your sink basin from scratching. In fact, there is even an upper deck kit that can cover your indoor or outdoor Workstations keeping your Gallery IWS covered, clean and out of sight when you want a sleek look.
