Located in Centerville-Brent, Alabama, the Deerhaven project showcases a blend of classic aesthetics and modern sensibilities. Our Toulmin Kitchen & Bath lead designer, Mary Lauda Crenshaw, worked alongside Ellis Architects' Brian Brooker and Yolanda Crawford to design the transitional style kitchen, bathrooms, gun room, pantry, laundry room, and outdoor kitchen in this newly built home in West Central Alabama.
Toulmin Kitchen and Bath also provided construction services and materials, including custom cabinetry throughout the home. Furnishings sourced from Jackie of All Trades (Jackie Skinner & Allison Thomas) add the final touch to this elegant yet functional space.
Kitchen & Butler’s Pantry
This meticulously designed kitchen from Toulmin Kitchen & Bath is situated at the heart of this luxurious home. Featuring exquisite Crystal cabinets with beaded inset detailing, every corner of this kitchen exudes sophistication. The stunning Francois & Company metal hood is the focal point of the space, adding a touch of grandeur.
This high-end transitional kitchen has top-of-the-line SubZero and Wolf Appliances, including a paneled refrigerator/freezer, dual fuel range, warming drawer, and paneled dishwasher. The quartzite countertops provide both durability and elegance, while the farmhouse sink adds a touch of rustic charm.
Ceiling beams infuse the room with character, while leaded glass elements enhance its timeless appeal. Practical features like a pot filler and polished nickel hardware ensure convenience without compromising style.
Adjacent, reclaimed wooden antique doors lead to a butler’s pantry boasting crystal cabinets with beaded inset cabinetry, herringbone floor tile, quartzite countertops, and a prep sink—an extension of luxury and functionality seamlessly integrated into the home's design.
Primary Bathroom & Powder Bath
Mary Lauda designed the primary bathroom as a sanctuary of relaxation and refinement. The Shiloh cabinetry vanities with beaded inset detailing are finished in Dorian Gray. Large format porcelain adorns the walk-in shower walls, the wall behind the soaking tub, and the vanity countertops, offering durability and high-end style. Polished nickel Brizo plumbing fixtures, including gooseneck showerheads, add a timeless elegance to the space.
The powder bath exudes elegance and style. A quarter-sawn white oak vanity complements the Crystal cabinetry with beaded inset detailing and reeded doors. Brass inlay waterjet marble tile adds a luxurious touch, while marble countertops and a Delta champagne bronze faucet complete the sophisticated look.
